End of Summer? Say it ain't so!

Lessons

Session III of our Summer Program begins tomorrow, July 30th. Please remember to bring an unopened can of balls to your first lesson. On the first day please remember to arrive about 10 minutes early for check in. The check in table will be located at the Constenson Stand. Lesson times are based on the child’s grade in the fall.

Grade 3 & 4             8 – 9:30 am
Little Hitters (K-2)    9:30 – 10:15 am
Grade 5& 6            10:30 – 12 noon
Grade 7-12            12:00 – 1:30 pm

Remember to check the website for the latest weather status. If we rain out Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday there will be a rain make up day on Thursday.

Team Tennis


The 14U and 18U teams competed in Sectionals last week at University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center and St. Paul Academy. We had a good showing with a lot of spirit. The results are posted on Tennislink - just access your team through the TEAM page.

Team Tennis optional practice resumes this week Monday through Wednesday with the in-house tournament on Thursday and Friday.

Those players looking for a great post season Challenger 1 tournament August 13-15 at the new Lakeville Lifetime Fitness. Entry fee is $33 per player. For more information access the tournament site click here

Summer Sizzler In-House Tournament
Our In-house Summer Sizzler is this Thursday and Friday. Singles is on Thursday and Doubles on Friday. Entry fee is $4 for singles and $2 for doubles. Entry forms can be found in the Documents section of the website. Forms must be into Coach Steve ASAP (tomorrow).

Private Lessons


The Coaches provide private lessons from 3- 6 pm Monday through Thursday. Rates are available on the website. Contact Mark, Steve, Ford or Chris for availability.

Derby Days

Derby Day's Parade is Sunday, August 5 starting at 1:30pm. The Tennis Assn. always has a float, moving tennis court and tosses a TON of candy. Meet at the Shakopee Theatre parking lot at 12:30. More details to follow.
